/P.S VERY LONG CAPTION- READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.😅😅/ 🍊Do you know that your " autonomic nervous system" produces your fight-or-flight response, which is what helps you defend yourself or run away from danger? 🍊When you are under stress or when you are anxious, this system kicks into action, and physical symptoms can appear — headaches, nausea, shortness of breath, shakiness, or stomach pain. 🍊A week or two weeks ago, I was so nervous about my forth coming exams, I was having headaches as a result of my constant worries. 🍊I complained to a friend of mine about how cumbersome the materials for all the courses were and how insensitive these lecturers were being. 🍊While nervously complainng to my friend, He said "Naomi, you're always anxious." 🍊To be honest, anxiety was something I had head knowledge about, but in terms of practicing"calmness" during certain situations, I scored a 3/10, especially when there is a buildup of smaller stressful life situations. 🍊Right now, I'm consciously learning to unlearn anxiousness by practicing to respond more calmly to certain situations. 🍊If you get #anxious like me, I really hope you join me on this journey too, because really, anxiety not only makes you stressed, it also makes the situation much bigger than it is. ❤P.s There is a difference between anxiety that triggers physical symptoms and physical symptoms that triggers anxiety. 🍊If per chance you have physical symptoms (illness) e.g asthma attack triggering your #anxiety, please dear, go and see your doctor.❤ CONGRATS!
