Which grip do you use? A or B ⤵️ 🤔 Tag your friends & read below ⤵️⁣⁣ As you will note from my two previous posts, I personally use B, the thumbless so called, ‘Suicide Grip’ 😳😅 or ‘False grip.’⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣The barbell sits more comfortably in my palm with a thumbless grip, however it's called a ‘Suicide Grip’ for a reason! If that bar slips, its curtains for your throat or rib cage. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ If you’re going to use a thumbless grip, ensure you follow these 3 tips:⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1. Ensure the barbell is not slippery and if chalk is available, use it!⁣⁣ 2. Place the bar in the midline of your palm, NOT on your fingertips.⁣⁣ 3. Actively squeeze the barbell with all five fingers throughout the lift.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⚠️ This grip should be used with great caution, or avoided completely.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ What style do you use?
