at this point i’m basically a tofu + oat cake fan page and i’m not really ashamed of it🙊 sooo here’s another easy tofu recipe from a while back!🍊 i’m a sucker for anything fruity in savoury dishes😏 hope you all have a good weekend🧡 EASiEST CRiSPY ORANGE TOFU (v / gf) ~ for the tofu (original post jan 12) ~ • 6 oz extra firm tofu • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil (can sub another oil) • 2-3 tbsp soy sauce • sprinkle of garlic powder • salt (to taste) • 2-3 tbsp cornstarch preheat oven to 425°. press tofu (30 mins is preferred) & cut into cubes. press tofu again. mix oil, soy sauce, garlic powder and salt. toss tofu in this mixture. add cornstarch and toss in cornstarch. bake at 425° for ~30 min (flip after 20)! ~ for the sauce ~ • 1/2 cup orange juice • 1 tbsp soy sauce • 2 tbsp maple syrup • 2-3 tsp cornstarch • 1/4 tsp garlic powder • pinch of red chilli flakes • salt mix everything in a bowl. cook on medium heat until thick and bubbly. 📸: served with creamy cauliflower rice🍚, steamed broccoli🥦, avocado🥑 + green onions
